The ambition of the islands is to be the first part of the UK to reach the Governments’ net zero carbon emission goals, to be recognised global leaders in the development and adoption of the technologies and processes associated with this transition and to have a thriving low carbon business and research cluster selling products, services, and expertise around the world.
The Islands Growth Deal will build on strong foundations to deliver a programme of investment across five projects designed to accelerate the islands’ transition to net zero.
